The Role Entails

A leading company in the Fintech industry is looking for an exceptional mid to senior Frontend Developer to join their team.

This Fintech company has been around for 30 years and has branches in Bellville, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Potchefstroom, Kimberley, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Pretoria, Rustenburg and Witbank.

The business’s program is used in South Africa, USA, Botswana and Namibia. 

The team uses Agile methodologies and experience in SCRUM would certainly be an advantage. The successful candidate must have experience with test-driven technologies using unit-testing frameworks, as well as experience in Version Control like GIT, Jenkins and Maven

Some key performance areas include:

  • Collaborate effectively with you team members and key stakeholders
  • Need to be able to complete all your tickets in your current sprint
  • Complete all support tickets within 24 hours
  • Communicate effectively on the project management system
  • Excellent problem-solve abilities
  • Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience

Tech experience: 

  • 4 Years+: UI/UX development in React
  • experience in Redux or React Flux using complex Object-Oriented concepts in improving the performance of the websites.
  • Expertise in analysing the Document Object Model (DOM) Layout, DOM Functions, and JavaScript functions, Cascading Styles across cross-browser.
  • Experience developing web pages using HTML/HTML5, XML, DHTML CSS/CSS3, SASS, LESS, JavaScript, Flex, JSON, Node.js, is an advantage.
  • It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience in backend development (JAVA, Spring, C#)
